Speak the Speech - Decoding Shakespeare

How many times have you read or studied Shakespeare and had no clue what you just read? Speak the Speech – Decoding Shakespeare, is a demonstration presented by cast members of The National Players Acting Company and helps you decipher and interpret the literature of one of the greatest playwrights of all time! The Tempest

The Tempest tells a story about tremendous shipwreck that scatters a cargo of noblemen across a mysterious island. Little do they know that Prospero, the banished Duke of Milan, is at the helm of all magic and mystery. In Shakespeare's last and most magical tale, fairies and spells unwind villains' desires, tie lovers together, and unknot past wrongs. The Tempest

As You Like It

Help us celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the Shakespeare Festival by attending a performance by The National Players entitled The Tempest. All the world's a stage in Shakespeare's classic love story about concealed identities and leaving home to find oneself. Running away to the woods to begin anew, Rosalind is surprised to find true love instead. Can she make a new home of this strange new world? With a little creative costuming and luck, each character creates a new life As You Like It.
