COMPLETE THE ONLINE VEHICLE REGISTRATION FORM. PRESENT YOUR PENN STATE STUDENT ID CARD AT THE OFFICE OF FINANCE AND BUSINESS SERVICES TO OBTAIN YOUR PARKING PERMIT. Students shall register their vehicles for the semester no later than one week after the start of classes.

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, is committed to providing our students with a safe and secure environment. In order to park on campus, enrolled students must register their vehicle(s) and obtain a parking permit at the start of each semester. The permit is issued at no charge. For security reasons only one (1) permit will be issued to each student per semester.

Students parking at Fayette Campus will be required to sign an online Vehicle Registration Agreement certifying they agree to fully abide by all parking rules and regulations, and understand their vehicle may be towed, or otherwise impounded for violating those parking rules and regulations. Also the student should be aware that their student account may be charged and a hold placed on the violator’s transcripts and class registrations for any tickets issued as a result of violating the parking rules and regulations.

If a student will be driving more than one vehicle on campus, the second vehicle must be registered on the Vehicle Registration Form and the one parking permit may be used with either vehicle while on campus. Parking permits cannot be sold or loaned to another person.

Students may park in lots designated “STUDENT PARKING” only which are located in the front of the campus and behind the Community Center. Students may not park in Visitor, Faculty/Staff lots, reserved spaces including “Library Patron”, “Loading/Unloading Zone” or “Handicap”. To park in a designated handicap space the student must possess and display a current state handicap placard registered in their name.

The parking permit needs to be displayed at all times while on campus on the rear view mirror of the vehicle. If for some reason a student arrives on campus without their issued permit, the student must stop at the Information Kiosk located at the front of the campus and obtain a temporary parking permit at no cost and park in the student lot. This temporary permit is good for that day only. Penn State students may not park in the visitor’s lot unless instructed by Security.

Lost permits must be discussed with Security located in Room 106 Williams Bldg. before another permit can be issued. If justified, a second permit can be issued to the student at a cost of $5.00.

Failure to display the permit appropriately may result in a $50.00 fine being levied against the student.

If you do receive a parking citation, you need to pay it immediately at the Penn State Fayette Office of Finance & Business Services, Room 106 Williams Bldg., Monday thru Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If a student accumulates three (3) or more parking citations, their vehicle could be towed off campus at the owner’s expense and will be banned from campus until such fines are paid in full. In addition, a registration/transcript hold will be placed on the student account.

All monies collected for parking violations of these rules and regulations are given to the Student Government Association.

Students need to report any change in name, address, vehicle or license plate number immediately.

The University reserves the right to tow any illegal vehicle at the risk and expense of the owner.

The Penn State University assumes no responsibility or liability for loss or damage to any motor vehicle parked on Penn State Fayette property.
