Sustainable Landscape Technology is a six-course, 17-credit certificate program that can be completed in as little as 15 months.
Real Estate Certificate Program is a structured series of courses designed to prepare students for a career in the real estate field. A Penn State certificate is awarded upon successful completion of both required courses and four of the electives (except R E 5015). Those who do not want to take the entire sequence are welcome to take any course or courses that interest them.
Real Estate Courses
Real Estate Fundamentals R E 5016 is the foundation for the study of real estate in Pennsylvania, covering language, principles, and laws that govern the business.
Real Estate Practice R E 5017 is an introduction to all facets of real estate business, including a survey of areas of specialization with an emphasis on the role of a real estate agent in residential brokerage; examination of real estate transaction, designed to provide a working knowledge of the forms and documents used, including the related mathematics.
Real Estate License Examination Review Course R E 5015 is a review for license applicants preparing for the Pennsylvania salesperson's examination. Students learn basic real estate theory and practice and insight into the formal examination and the types of questions. (Fifteen hours.) Prerequisites: R E 5016 and 5017.
